About the Position

SWIFT Home Lifts is a growing company in the expanding market for home lifts. Currently, the head office in Stockholm has nine employees, with additional staff in Falkenberg and several other countries. The company and group are growing rapidly, and the positive development now means that they choose to bring the accounting in-house, which is currently outsourced to an accounting firm.

You are therefore offered the opportunity to be involved in shaping this new position as an accounting manager and to participate in building routines and processes around the role. The finance department in Sweden will consist of two people with this new position.

Your Main Responsibilities

Ongoing accounting
Monthly financial statements (including internal group reconciliations)
Annual financial statements
Participation in audits
VAT and tax declarations
Ongoing invoicing to partners and group companies
The entire chain of accounts receivable and accounts payable including invoicing
Payroll administration
Reporting to SCB, Collectum, Fora, and other relevant authorities
Some involvement with foreign subsidiaries; UK, Vietnam, and Belgium
Other usual tasks occurring in the finance department

For the right person, there is also an opportunity to be involved in financial monitoring and analysis of certain companies. Likewise, in the long term, to take responsibility for annual reports and income declarations that are currently handled by the CFO. In consultation with your immediate manager, there is an opportunity for some remote work.

Who Are You?

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone with at least 5-10 years of practical experience in relevant accounting tasks and who can independently prepare financial statements. We believe you have either worked in smaller or medium-sized companies or have a background as an accounting consultant. It is also advantageous if you have experience working with payroll, but it is not a requirement.

It is important for the position that you are fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Furthermore, we are looking for someone with good knowledge of Excel. We believe you have at least an education equivalent to high school level in finance, preferably with relevant further education.

As a person, you are structured, meticulous, and responsible. You are a solution-oriented doer who drives your work independently. Since it is a smaller office, a down-to-earth and collaborative person is required who helps contribute to the office's operation.
