The Swedish Pensions Agency is currently undergoing an exciting transformation journey to develop our new benefits system from the ground up, which involves a lot of new development.

We are now looking for a technical tester who is collaborative and enjoys working in a team!

About the job

In team Barracuda, we are further developing our case management system. It serves as a central function for the agency's case processing and is used by approximately 800 case officers.

With us, you will be part of a team that works based on a team-oriented organization according to the agile framework SAFe. We facilitate quality assurance of services and systems and enable continuous deliveries to testing and production (CD/CI). In addition, our ambition is to drive innovation and take responsibility for the architecture by being leaders in our field.

Your profile

To thrive in the role of Technical Tester with us, it is important that you have good analytical and problem-solving skills. Working as a team is a given for you, you have good collaboration skills and enjoy our environment where knowledge sharing is a natural part of the work.

We see that you:

• are educated as a systems developer, computer engineer, or have acquired equivalent knowledge in another way
• have solid testing competence and work experience in test automation
• have experience and enjoy working in agile teams
• are proficient in the Swedish language

It is advantageous if you have experience with:

• Kotlin, have experience with Java or another programming language
• Build process tools such as Jenkins
• A modern IDE, preferably IntelliJ, have experience with communication interfaces, such as REST

The Swedish Pensions Agency is responsible for the public pension and informs about the entire pension. Each year, we pay out approximately 415 billion kronor to 2.3 million pensioners, conduct approximately 911,000 fund switches, and send out 8 million orange envelopes. We have about 25 million digital customer contacts per year. We are approximately 1,700 employees at eight locations, from Luleå in the north to Halmstad in the south.
