Åkerblads Gästgiveri, Hotel & Spa is a family-owned hotel business located in beautiful Tällberg, Dalarna. The estate has been in the Åkerblad family since the 1400s & today the 19th – 22nd generations of Åkerblad work together with a strong team of 40 to provide guests with a memorable experience. Experiences are our keyword; it is what we convey to the guest from the moment they check in until they long to return to the sparkling waters of Siljan. Our goal is to deliver a unique product, which is reflected not only in the historic premises but also in the hotel’s 73 guest rooms, all personally decorated & no room is like the other. Our restaurant works with locally produced ingredients & personal flavors, for both conference guests and weekend guests. The hotel is currently classified with four stars & aims for continuous development where quality & service are the guiding principles.

Waitress/Waiter, 3 positions summer employment

Your tasks…

As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be part of a team that works to serve and meet our guests' high demands.

Your main tasks consist of serving food and drinks to both lunch and dinner guests. Lunches are offered as buffet & plated service & dinners are predominantly from our constantly updated A'la Carte menu.

Your role includes preparation and restoration of the dining room, such as setting up tables, dishwashing, polishing, etc. There is also some bar work involved, and most importantly, making our fantastic guests feel welcome.

Competence profile…

You have work experience in A'la Carte service and good knowledge of wines.

Your most important qualities are characterized by good teamwork skills, being an important part of a cohesive team. You should also be able to work quickly and prioritize with quality-compliant results according to management's requirements.

We place great importance on personal chemistry, professional pride, and your interest in keeping up with the industry's constant development.

Information…

We are looking for you and offer a full-time position during the summer months, 100%.

The position is available between June-August/September. The most important thing for us is to find the right employee, and therefore we are flexible with the start date.
