About the Role

As a Strategic Sourcing Manager at Saab Aeronautics, you will work with business relationships, projects, and strategic purchases related to Saab's products. You will be responsible for collaboration with selected strategic suppliers and work on both new and existing projects in close collaboration with technical and engineering teams.

In your role, you will among other things:

• Be responsible for business relationships with strategic suppliers and ensure their long-term commitment to Saab.
• Lead procurements and negotiations for new and ongoing projects.
• Act as project leader for the sourcing team in larger projects.
• Drive continuous development within your area of responsibility.
• Build and maintain a comprehensive professional network both internally and externally.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with commercial experience and solid knowledge in strategic sourcing. You are engaged, structured, and business-oriented. Your ability to build and maintain long-term relationships is crucial. As a person, you are persistent, proactive, and enjoy collaboration both internally and with external parties.

We believe you have:

• A university degree or vocational training in purchasing or equivalent documented education.
• Experience in strategic purchasing and project management.
• Good communication skills and proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• International experience or knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, involve requirements for certain citizenship.
