Reningsborg currently operates four secondhand stores, as well as social enterprises and meeting places. In our stores, social enterprises, and in our work with children, youth, and families, we have a strong focus on social sustainability. This includes mentoring and guiding people who, for various reasons, have found themselves outside the labor market.

We are now looking for an engaged and flexible mentor/driver for our cozy secondhand store in Partille who wants to help create a sustainable society for both people and things. We are in an exciting phase of developing our store and secondhand operations.

As a mentor/driver at Reningsborg , you will drive and pick up items donated to us, and thus also be our face to donors and customers. The role also includes daily mentoring for employees who ride with you in the car or who you work with in the store.

Together, we create an attractive store, which also becomes a growth place for work training and collaborations, and a place characterized by our values.

The work is also planned to be partly located at another of our stores.

Responsibilities:

- responsibility as a mentor and driver for our transports to our donors and customers.

- actively plan for and participate in the daily work of transports including bookings via phone, as well as in the work in the store with, for example, preparation and pricing of donated goods.

- tasks related to preparation in the store, for example, for the furniture and leisure department.

- practical mentoring of participants in work training within relevant areas.

- in addition to the time required for driving, contribute to the organization of the store for sales and participate in sales during opening hours.

- be a good ambassador for Reningsborg and meet customers, donors, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.

- contribute to a good and safe working environment and a good collaboration with other employees in the organization.

We are looking for someone who:

- has documented experience in similar work and is passionate about secondhand and sustainability issues. Experience in the secondhand field is an advantage.

- has extensive experience in driving/transports and good skills in providing a good reception to our customers and donors.

- has experience in mentoring others at work.

- has a good ability to meet and empower people from different backgrounds and varying support needs.

- has experience and knowledge of sorting, pricing, and presenting goods in the store and the ability to contribute with good service.

- enjoys working physically and has a good ability to perform physical work, which also includes recurring heavy lifting.

- is responsible and self-driven and good at planning and organizing.

- is creative and has good problem-solving skills.

- is communicative and has a good ability to collaborate with others.

- has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

- shares our values and wants to be a good ambassador for Reningsborg.

- has a B driver's license.

The position is a permanent employment, starting with a probationary period.

The position is planned to be filled after the holiday period, provided that the necessary decisions are made.

Working hours: 100%

The working hours are preliminarily planned to mainly be scheduled Mon-Fri (some days until about 6:30 PM), with scheduled Saturdays according to a timetable.
