Leather Tanner / Operator at Tärnsjö Garveri

Tärnsjö Garveri is a historic company located in northern Uppland. We combine traditional, vegetable tanning with solid craftsmanship and the production of high-quality leather products. We are now expanding our team and looking for an operator for our tannery in the factory in Tärnsjö. A person who shares our passion for craftsmanship and quality.

Job Description

As a leather tanner and operator in the tannery, you will work in the factory with leather production. We have many different tasks and machines. We have a rotating schedule between the various stations to prevent our employees from getting strain injuries. It is a heavy and rough job, so we are looking for someone who is in good physical shape and is not afraid to roll up their sleeves. We are a team of 12 people. Your role will involve close collaboration with your colleagues. You should enjoy working in a team and like to contribute to the whole.

Preferred Qualifications

● Work experience from production/industrial work.

● High school education.

Personal Qualities

● Detail-oriented and quality-conscious, with an eye for details.

● Good physical condition.

● Passion for fine craftsmanship and high-quality products.

● Ability to work together with others and contribute positively to the team atmosphere and results.

● A positive attitude towards work with a strong drive to deliver and work efficiently.

● Punctual and reliable with a strong understanding of the importance of keeping schedules and agreements.

Language Requirements

● Good knowledge of Swedish.
