Are you meticulous, responsible, and enjoy varied tasks? We are now looking for a driven and self-sufficient machine operator with transport responsibility for Junger & Schild in Enköping. In this exciting combined role, you will have the opportunity to work as a grinding operator and be responsible for the transport of industrial knives to and from customers. This is a recruitment, which means you will be directly employed by Junger & Schild.

Junger & Schild offers industrial knives and grinding services to the paper/pulp industry, metal/steel industry, plastic/recycling industry, and wood industry. Their business idea is to work according to a total concept, Total Cutting Concept (TCC). The concept means that as a company, they offer a complete solution with products, grinding services, technical support, and logistics to the Swedish market.

Your main tasks

In this role, you will combine tasks as a machine operator and transport manager, which means variation in your workday. Your main responsibilities include:

• Working with different types of grinding machines, primarily Göckel machines
• Being responsible for and working with various types of grinding, including flat grinding, circular grinding, cylindrical grinding, and surface grinding
• Ensuring that the grinding machines are kept clean and in good condition through daily maintenance
• Keeping records for work orders both for customers and internally
• Receiving and checking incoming goods
• Reviewing and noting withdrawals of grinding wheels and knives from the warehouse
• Handling micrometers and calipers, as well as tolerances and angles for the knives
• Driving the transport vehicle and being responsible for picking up and dropping off knives at customers, approximately 6–8 trips per month
• Administrative responsibility for the daily operation of the transport vehicle, such as checking service needs, repairs, and tire changes

We are looking for a person who is meticulous, responsible, and has a strong work ethic. Since the role combines both practical machine work and transport responsibility, it is important that you have a good ability to work independently while also enjoying teamwork. You should have an eye for detail and be thorough in everything you do. We believe you have a practical approach and are not afraid to take responsibility for both equipment and workflows.

• A driving license (B) is a requirement for the position
• Previous experience as a machine operator or transport manager is advantageous
• Forklift license is advantageous

Working hours and salary:

Working hours are weekdays, approximately 07:00–15:30. Salary according to agreement. The position is a direct employment with Junger & Schild with immediate start.
