About the Role

BAT is a rapidly developing company with products like VELO, VUSE, and GLO on a mission to reduce the health impact of the industry. To achieve BAT's ambition, we are looking for colleagues who are ready to take on this challenge. As an Operator at BAT, your main responsibilities will include monitoring production, manufacturing products according to the production schedule, and adjusting machines as needed. In the role of Machine Operator, you will work alongside your colleagues to achieve results and provide improvement suggestions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor production
  • Manufacture products according to production schedules and deadlines
  • Adjust machines based on needs
  • Close collaboration with other Operators and Technicians in production

The position of Operator is a consultancy assignment via Adecco for 6 months. If the opportunity arises, it may subsequently transition to a permanent position with the client. BAT operates shift work that can vary between 3- and 5-shift systems.

About You

We are looking for someone who is a curious and responsible team player. To succeed in this role, you are attentive and open to leveraging the skills and experiences of those around you. Furthermore, you contribute your own ideas and perspectives and have high moral standards and integrity. Previous experience in the food industry is advantageous. You speak and write Swedish without hindrance.

Qualifications:

  • Drive and commitment to develop in the role
  • Initiative

Preferred:

  • Previous experience as an assembler/operator
  • Previous experience in the food industry
  • Forklift license

To ensure a thorough assessment, we use personality tests and video interviews in our selection process. A background check will be conducted on all final candidates in the recruitment process.
