The production capacity is 340,000 tons of pulp and 475,000 tons of fine paper.

Are you a driven and engaged person who enjoys working in the industry? Then this job is for you!

What do we offer you? At Sylvamo, Nymölla mill, you will have the opportunity to work in a large international company with a clear local presence and good internal development opportunities. We value our employees' well-being and security through good benefits, collective agreements, and safety as our highest priority in accordance with our motto #peoplebeforepaper.

You will become part of a team in Energy and Recycling. You will be surrounded by experienced and helpful colleagues where you will have the opportunity to develop and learn new things for a long time to come!

Energy & Recycling is responsible for recycling the chemicals used in the cooking process in the chemical pulp mill and ensuring that the entire plant's supply of process steam and other thermal energy is maintained. The department also provides a significant portion of the plant's electricity supply. Energy & Recycling is thus the plant's own combined heat and power plant. This must be done with as little impact as possible on the external environment and with a strong focus on the safety of employees and the facility.

About the position The operator roles involve a variety of both physically “hands-on” work with process equipment and process monitoring in our control system.

The daily work includes continuous monitoring and adjustment of operating parameters to ensure that production remains at a high and consistent level. You will conduct inspection rounds aimed at detecting and addressing faults in the facility and will be responsible for initiating and, in some cases, ordering or performing maintenance efforts. You will also maintain contacts with colleagues in adjacent areas in other departments.

In the long-term work, you as an operator will be involved in the work of continuous improvements aimed at developing our operations and production processes, and you will also participate in the work environment efforts in the department.

The working hours are continuous 3-shift.

Who are you? To thrive in the role, you have a genuine interest and understanding of technology. Our production processes are complex, and you will face some problem-solving where your creative ability can come into play.

In our shift teams, collaboration is key, so you need to enjoy working in a group and have the ability to take initiative and come up with suggestions and ideas. Our goal is to strive to get a little better every day, and together we make a difference!

As a person, you are driven, responsible, curious, and meticulous. We always prioritize safety, so it is important that you also have a consequence-oriented mindset and are willing to ask for help in situations where it is needed.

Your skills and experience We are looking for someone with a completed high school diploma, and it is considered an advantage if you have a vocational education focusing on process industry. The position also requires a B driver's license and good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. We would also like you to have experience from the process industry, Lean, and 5S.

In this recruitment, we place great importance on your abilities in collaboration, flexibility, and responsibility.
