About the workplace

MatOmsorg, the meal organization of the care and social services administration, delivers food and meals to our operations - 365 days a year! We are 35 people working within MatOmsorg, distributed across five different workplaces, four kitchens, and one office. Together, we work towards the common goal of offering good meals that enhance the quality of life and add a touch of gold to our customers' everyday lives.

Lundhagen's nursing home is located in Kattarp. The residence has 40 tenants. In the kitchen, you work in a team of three people who, in addition to Lundhagen, also prepare lunch and dinner for Tuvehagen in Ödåkra. The kitchen also prepares food for a nearby LSS operation.

Job Responsibilities

At MatOmsorg, you are part of a team consisting of chefs, meal assistants, and a nutrition assistant who together prepare approximately 1300 portions a day. We are distributed across four kitchens, one large and three smaller. The work is led by the kitchen manager, and the tasks may vary between large pots, special diets, or texture-adapted meals. In addition, all other types of tasks performed in the kitchen are included, such as packing, portioning, cleaning, and dishwashing.

Qualifications

We are looking for a trained chef with broad knowledge. A few years of experience from both the private and public sectors is seen as a positive. Since the green transition is a focus area, you should have an interest in the connection between food, climate, and food production.

You need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as basic IT skills.

It is advantageous if you have:

• knowledge of nutrition data systems, Mashie or equivalent
• experience working with texture-adapted meals and special diets
• good knowledge of self-control and HACCP.
