The school is centrally located in Smedby and is easily accessible with good transport links. The school is nestled in beautiful nature with walking paths and no disturbing traffic. It is a well-established free school run by the foundation Language School in Upplands Väsby. Under the school's roof, there are English School, Sverigefinska School both with associated after-school care and Language School's preschool.

Job Description

You will teach textile handicrafts for grades 3-9 at both schools. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the teaching based on applicable governing documents and legislation. You collaborate closely with other educators, student health, school management, and other staff at the school. You actively participate in the school's development work, conferences, and other meetings. Together with your colleagues, you work to ensure that all students feel comfortable and develop based on their conditions. You work with adaptations for students so that all students are given the conditions for high goal achievement.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license with the authority to teach textile handicrafts. If you have qualifications in more subjects, it is an advantage.

We are looking for someone who has English as their native language but also masters Swedish in speech and writing.

You prioritize students, knowledge goals, and curiosity.
