Cleaner (Substitute) for the Child and Education Administration

The cleaning team is responsible for keeping all premises within the Child and Education Administration clean and fresh, in accordance with agreements with the operations, focusing on a good working environment for our students and staff. Good learning starts with pleasant and functional premises. We work with modern equipment and environmentally friendly products, adapted for premises with varying uses.

The cleaners are part of the service team within the Child and Education Administration in Vaggeryd Municipality. The unit provides service tasks within janitorial services & cleaning, as well as window cleaning and floor care at all preschools, primary schools, and leisure centers in Vaggeryd Municipality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a substitute, your task is to clean our premises using correct methods & machines to ensure they are clean and that the environment is good and safe for our children/students and staff. Together we make a difference. Being a substitute means:

• usually working on short substitutes
• working with cleaning at several different schools and preschools
• replacing regular staff during absences
• your working hours are agreed upon based on the needs of the operations and your preferences

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a strong interest and commitment to cleaning, preferably with experience in similar work. You have a positive attitude and a pleasant demeanor, are responsible, and enjoy working in environments with many people. Good collaboration skills are important as you will be in contact with several different staff groups. We are looking for someone who is flexible as the workplace and tasks may vary from day to day. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. A B driver's license is a strong preference. In accordance with the Education Act, a criminal record extract is required. You can order the extract by filling out a form on the police's website.
