As a janitor with our client, you play a key role in the daily operations – from receiving deliveries and coordinating internal moves to performing simple maintenance and ensuring that conference rooms are in order. About the position

Perido is looking for an experienced janitor for our client – an authority that deals with issues related to the environment, nature, business, social development, animal welfare, gender equality, integration, transport, infrastructure, and housing. The internal service team currently consists of six employees responsible for the operation and development of the authority's internal services, which include conference activities, reception, property services, including mail handling. They are located in modern premises in central Stockholm.

Your tasks will include:

• receiving deliveries and distributing within the authority
• collecting outgoing mail and packages
• coordinating and assisting with internal moves
• refilling paper in copying rooms
• emptying cardboard and paper
• simple maintenance tasks
• furnishing and preparing conference rooms
• receiving visitors in the reception when needed, e.g., contractors
• setting up refreshments for conferences when needed
• assisting with technology in conference rooms when needed
• some other administrative tasks

Your qualities

We are looking for a janitor who is service-oriented and has an easy time interacting with different types of people. You are responsible, flexible, and enjoy working both independently and collaboratively. Collaborating and finding solutions in various situations is a natural part of your work approach. Finally, you work flexibly and can quickly adapt to different areas of work.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or vocational training
• At least 1 year of work experience as a janitor
• Experience in similar work
• Good knowledge of the Office suite
• Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Driver's license B
• At least three (3) years of work experience as a janitor
• Basic knowledge of case management systems

Scope and start date

Full-time, consulting assignment until 2025-06-30. Immediate start.
