Job Responsibilities

The resource we are looking for in the form of a researcher will conduct research within the project “How does business analytics produce value: Analyzing regimes of organizing” (funded by the Marianne and Marcus Wallenberg Foundation) in close collaboration with Professor Rikard Lindgren and Guest Professor Ulrike Schultze. Focusing on value creation and data-driven innovation, the work includes two specific tasks: 1) Analysis of individual case studies as well as comparative analyses between firms and organizations. The work includes analysis and design of digital processes that integrate both internal and external data to improve HR (human resources) strategies and enable digital transformation of organizations and businesses. The overall goal is to achieve results that are highly relevant but also conceptually interesting enough to enable the kind of theory development required for publication in reputable journals in information systems.

  • Academic affiliation in information technology, system science, or related fields
  • Experience working with HR-tech and digital platforms for workforce planning
  • Understanding of digital entrepreneurship and its impact on organizational development
  • Knowledge of business processes related to human resource management and recruitment

The role requires excellent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Additionally, the applicant should have a strong interest in writing and publishing scientific articles in areas such as:

  • Innovative methods for designing intelligent systems in HR-tech.
  • Data analysis and its application for strategic decision-making in HR
  • Implementation of technical solutions to streamline workforce management through digital entrepreneurship
  • Development and optimization of system architecture focusing on the integration of internal and external data
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration for the development of innovative solutions within HR systems

The university will primarily consider those who, after a comprehensive assessment of competence and skill, are deemed to have the best conditions to carry out and develop the relevant tasks, collaborate with other staff, and contribute to a positive development of the organization.
