Skutskär Health Center

Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we tailor our services according to the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

Your Mission

With us, you will work closely with all professions at the health center. Your tasks will consist of outpatient work with good opportunities for other stimulating tasks such as mentoring BT/AT/ST doctors and responsibility for various clinical processes based on interest. As part of the job, you will be involved in developing our operations, and there are good opportunities to influence work arrangements and appointment schedules, thus allowing you to impact your work environment. Some on-call/standby duties are included as is the case throughout primary care in the Uppsala region. We offer the possibility to work partially remotely.

Your Competence

We are looking for you who are a doctor with specialist competence in general medicine with Swedish authorization and good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written. Since we are now at a stage where we have great opportunities to develop our operations, it is advantageous if you have an interest in healthcare development with a focus on patients and patient flows. It is also beneficial if you appreciate working in teams around patients with other professionals to achieve effective flows. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Our Operations

Skutskär Health Center is located a five-minute walk from the train station, and it is easy to commute from both Gävle (17 km) and Uppsala (90 km). All professional areas are represented with us, and together we offer all services within the health center's mission. Here, all professions work closely together to provide the best possible care, and you can become one of our team!

Together we have 9,000 listed patients, we are 38 employees who offer most services within primary care and have, among other things, very well-functioning nurse-led clinics. At the health center, we work to provide our patients with the best possible care. We value a good and stimulating work environment with personal solutions.
