Summer Job in the Check-in Team at Stena Line

Are you a service-oriented person who is passionate about providing 'that little extra'? Join our wonderful Check-in team at Stena Line this summer and give our guests a fantastic start to their journey! To strengthen our check-in departments at Masthugget and Majnabbe, we are looking for summer substitutes who can start immediately and work until the end of August. There are also good chances for extension. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in providing first-class service and giving our travelers a memorable experience.

Different Roles in Our Team

In Frontline, you are the face of our guests as they arrive at the terminal. It is your task to provide them with world-class service while welcoming and assisting them with everything from booking/selling trips to check-in and boarding at departure. The job also includes answering questions from our guests over the counter and via email.

As a Freight Check-in Agent, you check in and out our freight units and drivers arriving at our ports. You also work with sales and booking of cargo and freight units. Here too, the job involves administrative tasks between departures and preparatory work for the next departure.

As a Vehicle Check-in Agent, you take care of our guests traveling with vehicles. You check in, board, and sell tickets to our guests. You work closely with other operational departments such as the quay and vessels to ensure everything runs smoothly. You answer questions and ensure a positive start to the travel experience. Between departures, you work on various administrative tasks and prepare for the next departure.

Your Must-Haves:

• Previous work experience in the travel industry, logistics, or service
• Can and want to work flexibly on a shift schedule (day, evening, and night shifts) and with varying tasks
• High school education
• At least 18 years old
• Driver's license (B)
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, additional languages such as German and Danish are a big plus!

Interested?

The positions are seasonal employment at 75-100% with immediate start until the end of August 2025. There is also the possibility to start in the spring for those available. The work involves varying hours every day of the week. Please note that we will not grant any vacation during this period, however, you will have days off in your varying shift schedule.
