Do you want to help create an inspiring learning environment for our students in the picturesque Svärtinge? Then you are the one we are looking for to strengthen our after-school team and contribute to the students' development both during and after school hours!
Who are we?
Svärtingehus School is located in Svärtinge, about ten kilometers northwest of Norrköping, in a developing residential area in a scenic location near Lake Glan. For the school year 25/26, we have approximately 315 students from preschool class to grade 6 and after-school care.
Svärtingehus currently consists of 5 working teams, and together we are about 40 people working with our students. We are a training school, which means we collaborate with Linköping University and host students studying to become teachers or primary school teachers for after-school care.

Your responsibilities
You will belong to a working team where you, together with other after-school teachers, are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating after-school activities. The position also includes teaching sports for grades F-2. You will be involved in the students' development both before, during, and after school.
Before and after school, you will work in the after-school program. You will be responsible for parts of the recess activities for the students in the lower grades during school hours, which is an important part of the school's value foundation work.

Who are you?
We are looking for someone who is a qualified teacher in after-school care. It is an advantage if you have previously worked in after-school activities. We want you to have a focus on sports.
You are a good role model who enjoys structure, is full of ideas, and sees every interaction with students as an opportunity. Being flexible and solution-oriented is a given for you, and you see the benefits of thinking differently and appreciating multiple perspectives.
You are a clear leader in the student group, flexible, and have a positive view of students. You have a clear pedagogical insight and the ability to translate the curriculum's goals into your work. As a person, you are engaged, attentive, and communicative. You want to make each child's day the best and care about building good relationships with guardians.
You are organized and have a good ability to communicate, build relationships, and collaborate with others, including students, guardians, and colleagues. You enjoy working in teams and have a good ability to create meaningful after-school activities for our students, as well as complement the primary school's curriculum in a fun way during after-school care.
