We are now looking to strengthen our department with an additional nurse for the night shift!

The focus of ward 14 is lower gastro, which means the lower gastrointestinal tract. We primarily care for patients who have undergone surgery for colorectal cancer, but surgically acute medical conditions also occur.

We are a competent organization proud of the quality of care we deliver. Ward 14 stood out particularly positively in the latest national patient survey regarding participation and involvement!

Job Responsibilities

In addition to standard nursing duties, you will work with pre- and post-operative care. This includes clinical assessments, wound and stoma care, management of central lines, medical technical equipment, gastric tubes, drainage, and urinary catheters. As a nurse on ward 14, you will enhance your skills.

You will receive an individually tailored introduction. You will also be assigned a mentor who will serve as additional support during your time as a new colleague. Ongoing training initiatives in the form of internal training, medical lectures, and basic training are offered at the clinic.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is

• a licensed nurse
• has experience in the profession

Preferred qualifications include

• other relevant education
• previous experience in surgical care
• good communication skills in both spoken and written form

You are interested in surgery and enjoy working both in teams and independently with varied tasks. You work responsibly and evidence-based, adhering to our routines. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, such as good collaboration skills, flexibility, and independence.

Night shifts according to applicable agreements.
