JOB DESCRIPTION
The Service Unit is looking for an experienced machine operator to join its team. The Service Unit is part of the Street Department within the Community Building Administration. The position includes on-call duty during the winter months.
As a machine operator, you will perform work with various machines such as wheel loaders, tool carriers, and agricultural tractors. There will also be work outside of the machine. Examples of work without a machine include construction work, workshop work, clearing work, etc.
You will, together with your colleagues, be responsible for and drive continuous improvements regarding order and tidiness within the operation.
QUALIFICATIONS
We require the following qualifications:
- High school education or experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
- Driver's license B
- Operator's license for wheel loaders
- C license
- YKB for C license
It is advantageous if you have:
- Experience in winter road maintenance
- Experience in excavation and grading work.
- Experience in construction work.
- Experience in forestry work.
- Experience in operating wheel loaders
As a person, you are responsible with a strong sense of order and tidiness. You are service-oriented with great social skills and enjoy collaborating with others. You like to contribute to the team as well as work independently. We expect you to be computer literate and see the computer as a tool in your work.
