As an automation engineer at Head Energy, you will play an important role in driving society forward, both in energy development and the industry's development and green transition!

You will have the opportunity to work on high-tech development projects. The projects are in our business areas Energy, Industry/Product Development, and Process. This means that you will work with everything from PLC programming, control, automation, testing, and systemization of primarily machines, products, and systems within our business areas.

Your willingness, personal ambition, competence, and development plan together with the customer create great opportunities for your future. The projects may involve new development or product and machine updates. In many cases, you will also have the opportunity to be involved from start to finish and see the product/systems commissioned during FAT/SAT.
As an automation engineer, you will work with

• PLC programming and control of machines, products, and systems
• Systemization and dimensioning of control systems
• Participating in the selection of components such as sensors, motors, drives, linear units, panels, etc.
• HMI and user interface
• Conducting feasibility studies and investigations
• Being the technical support for aftermarket production
• Technical support towards customers
• Ensuring that development work is carried out according to the customer's routines and follows applicable norms and standards
• Quality assuring and technically reviewing the development work against the original order
• Participating in FAT and SAT
• Conducting risk and safety assessments/analyses

• University degree in automation
• At least 3 years of work experience in PLC programming and systemization
• Experience with control systems such as Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Beijer, Beckhoff, Omron, etc.
• Work experience in PLC programming of products and machines in a production-related environment
• Experience in commissioning and close collaboration with or work in electrical design is an advantage
• Experience in automation from product development and energy (hydropower, nuclear power, wind power, or solar energy) is an advantage
