Mentor for Youth at Property Owners in Järva

StudentConsulting is seeking mentors for Property Owners in Järva. As a mentor, you will be a role model for the youth and will motivate and guide them over a period of 3 weeks. As a mentor, you are driven and have a strong interest in guiding others. To fit this role, we are looking for someone who enjoys varied work, is self-motivated, and has the ability to engage and make people feel included in the group.

Your responsibilities as a mentor;

• Mentor a group of youth for 3 weeks
• Introduce and evaluate the youth's work
• Coordinate the work and mentor, instruct, and motivate the youth with the tasks involved
• Planning and follow-up of tasks in dialogue with the responsible manager/landlord
• Ensure that the summer workers have a clear understanding of what is expected of them
• Provide feedback on the summer workers' efforts and support in the practical aspects
• Reporting of the hours worked by the summer workers

This is a staffing assignment, which means you will be employed through StudentConsulting and assigned to our client, Property Owners in Järva. The need for this role occurs during weeks 25, 26 & 27 full-time, with mandatory training in week 24. Working hours are 09:00 – 15:30 every day.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Requirements

• Completed high school education
• Experience working with and mentoring youth
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Clean criminal record (check will be conducted during the recruitment process)
• Available to work during weeks 25, 26 & 27

Furthermore, you have the ability to work independently and are attentive and understanding of youth with special needs.
