Who We Are Looking For: We are currently seeking a skilled maintenance mechanic who is experienced in working with excavators, wheel loaders, dumpers, and trucks. As a maintenance mechanic with us, you will work in a versatile and challenging environment across the various operations of the group companies, where no day is the same. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our projects are executed with precision and efficiency. We are looking for employees who can develop within our organization, which is why a good aptitude for structure, leadership skills, and good planning ability are advantageous. 

Role and Responsibilities: As a maintenance mechanic, you will have several important tasks, including:

• Perform ongoing maintenance and repairs on machines and equipment in the quarries and support maintenance needs for trucks and concrete plants.
  • Wheel Loaders
  • Excavators
  • Dumpers
  • Concrete Trucks
  • Pump Trucks
  • Concrete Plants
  • Crushers
  • Sorting Plants
  • Etc. 

You will work independently but in good dialogue and communication with other colleagues on-site in the quarries and under the leadership of production managers and production supervisors. Working hours are weekdays, usually between 06:00 and 18:00 (40 hours/week, but times may vary) with occasional overtime. The position of maintenance mechanic is with flexible deployment but primarily focused on the areas around Västervik and Vimmerby.

Qualifications:

• Experience in maintenance of heavy machinery is a requirement
• Experience in maintenance of trucks is an advantage
• Driving license B is a requirement
• Driving license C is an advantage
• Good technical knowledge in welding is an advantage
• Experience in machine operation is an advantage
• Experience in the aggregates industry is an advantage.
• Good language skills in both written and spoken English are an advantage

The position is full-time and will start as soon as possible.
