Who we are looking for: We are currently seeking a skilled maintenance mechanic who is experienced in working with excavators, wheel loaders, and dump trucks. As a maintenance mechanic with us, you will work in a versatile and challenging environment where no day is the same. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our projects are executed with precision and efficiency. We are looking for employees who can develop within our organization, which is why a good aptitude for structure, leadership qualities, and good planning skills are advantageous. 

Role and Responsibilities: As a maintenance mechanic, you will have several important tasks, including:

• Responsible for ongoing maintenance and repairs on machines and fixed equipment in the quarry.
  • Wheel loaders
  • Excavators
  • Dump trucks
  • Belt conveyors and boat loading equipment
  • Crushers
  • Sorting plants
  • Etc. 
• Production and machine operation
  • Support machine operation in the quarry as needed
  • Assist colleagues with production services such as crushing and sorting of aggregates as needed.
• Harbor work
  • Support the operation during arrival reception and departure delivery as needed.

You will work independently but in good dialogue and communication with other colleagues on site in the quarry and under the leadership of the production manager and production chief. Working hours are weekdays, usually between 06:00-21:00 (40 h/week but times may vary) with occasional overtime work. The position as a maintenance mechanic is stationed at our quarry located in Flivik between Oskarshamn and Västervik.

Qualifications:

• Experience in maintenance of heavy machinery is a requirement
• Driver's license B is a requirement
• Good technical knowledge in welding is advantageous
• Experience in harbor work is advantageous
• Experience in machine operation is advantageous
• Experience in the aggregate industry is advantageous.
• Good language skills both written and spoken in English are advantageous

The position is full-time and will start as soon as possible.
