We are looking for

Two dedicated and caring personal assistants who want to be part of a new start and contribute to ensuring that our citizen has a safe and pleasant everyday life.

Your new job

You will work together with your colleagues to create a meaningful daily life for the citizen who needs support in everyday tasks due to difficulties in performing them independently.

The work is carried out in the individual's home, often alone, where the tasks are tailored to the individual needs and resources of the citizen. Your work is characterized by respect for the individual's integrity, aiming for the citizen to live as independently as possible. The man lives in central Jönköping.

The citizen has sustained an injury after a fall and uses a wheelchair. He has some mobility in his arms and head but needs support in many moments. He has his own car and sometimes wishes for the assistants to drive it.

Other tasks included in the position:

• Provide personal care and support in daily life
• Perform all household chores, such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry
• Support the citizen in his daily activities and assist with transfers
• Drive the citizen's car for errands and activities if needed

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant or personal assistant. Alternatively, you may have extensive experience working as a personal assistant, particularly in wound care and handling certain challenging behaviors.

• Experience in wound care is required
• Experience in nursing is required
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is an advantage

A driving license for manual transmission is an advantage for the position.

We are looking for a confident and mature individual with the ability to work independently and in a structured manner. You have a stable and calm demeanor, while also being relationship-building and attentive in your interactions. Your good judgment and analytical thinking enable you to solve problems smoothly and effectively. Additionally, you have pedagogical insight and can adapt your support based on the individual's needs.

Good to know

The recruitment concerns 2 permanent full-time positions. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, weekdays, and weekends. We always offer a 100% employment rate and work with co-planning where work with other citizens may occur.
