About the job

We are now looking for a lawyer for the legal unit as one of our employees is on leave for a period. The unit provides legal support to the authority's various areas of operation. You will contribute legal expertise in the work to develop Sweden's digital infrastructure. This means that you will participate in the work to implement the EU's interoperability regulation and work with the Swedish framework for digital collaboration.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of Swedish legislation
• Good knowledge of IT law, administrative law, public access and confidentiality, and data protection
• Relevant knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written - This means that you can produce reports and other written materials at the level required by the task. You express yourself both in writing and orally in a pedagogical way so that the recipient understands and the red thread is maintained. You need to be able to present both oral and written information at meetings or other forums both internally and externally
• Relevant knowledge of English - both spoken and written at the level required by the role

Meritorious

• Knowledge of legislation within our area of operation, for example regarding data accessibility

Experience

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in qualified legal work within public administration
• Experience in legal work primarily focused on the digitalization of public administration

Meritorious

• Experience working with regulatory sandboxes and innovation
• Experience collaborating with public and private actors
• Work with interoperability regulation
• Experience with agile working methods

Education

You have an academic education in Law.

About Digg

Digg is an authority that works broadly to support and coordinate the digitalization of the Swedish public administration. We develop digital infrastructure and services that help other public actors in their digitalization. We also ensure that digital public services are accessible to all.

Possible organizational change

In order to strengthen the digitalization work, the government has tasked Digg and the Post and Telecom Authority (PTS) to propose how our two authorities could merge into one. The report was submitted to the government on March 14, and we are now awaiting a decision on whether an organizational change will be implemented. We are positively inclined to provide space for remote work based on the needs of the business and the individual, but it is expected that you are in the office at least one day a week and when the work requires it. The extent of remote work varies between different individuals based on the needs of the business.
