Description
Do you want to make a difference and create quality of life for others? Then you are a perfect fit for us!
We have started our summer recruitment and are looking for colleagues for our short-term unit as well as for our care and nursing homes.
We are looking for you who want to work on a schedule during the day/evening or night with shifts every other weekend during weeks 24–34.
To ensure you have a good and safe start at your new workplace with us, you will undergo an introduction. If you enjoy working with us, there is a great opportunity to continue working after the summer.
We offer a job that is both fun and stimulating, where you, together with experienced and wonderful colleagues, provide our users with good care! Additionally, we work with a 37-hour week as a full-time measure for day/evening and 34.33 hours per week for night shifts.
Kungälv Municipality offers monthly employment for all summer substitutes who work more than four weeks. This means that you will have guaranteed shifts, a ready-made schedule, and salary paid out in the same month.

Tasks
Care and Nursing Homes
We have six care and nursing homes located around the municipality focusing on dementia, geriatric psychiatry, and somatics.
Your tasks involve providing our tenants with care and support based on their individual needs. The nature of the support varies depending on the person's needs and wishes. It may involve assisting with personal care, medication, shopping, laundry, and cleaning. You will have the opportunity to work where you, together with your colleagues, are the key person in the network surrounding the tenant. You will need to have medication delegation, which you will receive after completing the training.
Short-term Units
The short-term units have a total of 32 places located at Kungälv Hospital and in Ytterby.
In the short-term units, we work closely with rehabilitation staff, nurses, and care managers. Since our users are here for a shorter period, we assess their need for help and thus create a plan for their future. We assist users with personal hygiene, help them dress if needed, and support them during meals if necessary. The work also includes performing delegated tasks such as administering medications, tube feeding (PEG), wound care, rehabilitation training, walks, etc. It is important to ensure that our users and their relatives feel secure with good care and support for the future. We also have a significant and important mission to care for individuals at the end of life, VILS.
