We are looking for

We are looking for a licensed psychologist with good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and would like you to have previous experience in the role of psychologist, especially from work in adult psychiatry, other psychiatric specialties, or habilitation. Experience in psychological treatment and/or experience in assessment, investigation, and diagnostics is also meritorious.

We place great importance on personal qualities and are looking for someone with a strong empathetic ability and a genuine desire to help others. You have good collaboration skills and thrive in cooperation with others, while also being able to work independently when required. You are a person with high integrity who handles your work with professionalism and respect for both patients and colleagues. You are structured and organized, which allows you to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work with good planning. You are proactive and take initiative, with a desire to drive work forward and find solutions where needed.

This is what you will work with

The work as a psychologist at our clinic consists of assessments, diagnostics, investigative work, and treatment. There is an opportunity to choose a specialization if desired. The work is at a specialist psychiatric level, which means you will meet patients with complex conditions and a high degree of comorbidity. This requires systematic organization and the ability to adapt your working methods to the current situation. A high degree of independence is required since much of the psychologist's work is done individually, but you also need to have the ability to work as part of a team, as this approach permeates the clinic.

As a psychologist with us, you have good opportunities for collegial supervision from an experienced psychologist and group supervision together with other psychologists within the area of operations. We offer targeted supervision in both investigation and psychological treatment.

At the clinic, doctors, specialist nurses, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nursing staff, and administrative personnel work together. We are a pleasant workgroup consisting of both relatively new employees and more experienced colleagues. We strive to provide our patients with prompt and good care with high quality and a professional approach, which requires us to have an empathetic, open, and low-arousal attitude. Collaboration with the Social Insurance Agency, the Employment Agency, and the municipality may also be part of the work, which requires you to have good skills in collaborating with other actors.

Information about the position

We offer a permanent full-time position starting on 2025-05-01 or by agreement. Working hours are scheduled Monday - Friday, daytime. Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.

The position is within psychiatry: Based on the nature of the operations and security requirements, applicants to our organization must be prepared to provide a criminal record extract.
