Job Description As an Assistant Logistics Coordinator, you will support the logistics team in the daily operations of transportation and delivery services. The role involves ensuring efficient planning, coordination, and follow-up of transports to meet customer needs and internal goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and booking of transports (domestic and/or international)
• Coordinate with drivers, carriers, and freight forwarders
• Monitor and follow up on deliveries to ensure punctuality and quality
• Handle freight documentation, customs paperwork, and other transport-related documents
• Support in managing customer inquiries and delivery issues
• Participate in improvement work of logistical processes
• Update and maintain transport systems and records

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• High school education, preferably with a focus on logistics or transportation
• At least 1 year of experience in similar tasks within logistics, forwarding, or transportation is an advantage
• Experience working with transport or business systems (e.g., on-going and opter)

Skills:

• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills (Office package, especially Excel)
• Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Structured and meticulous with a solution-oriented approach
• Good teamwork skills but also able to work independently
• Good English in both spoken & written

Meritorious:

• Experience in international logistics or customs handling
• Knowledge of transport legislation or ADR regulations
