The Hospital in Ystad is a medium-sized hospital in southeastern Skåne with around 1,000 employees. Here, both emergency and planned healthcare, maternity care, and specialized medical care are provided around the clock.

The position is organizationally placed within the unit Staff, a cross-administrative unit that works with operational development and qualified support to management teams and healthcare operations. Within the unit, issues such as digitization, SDV, care guarantees, premises, environment, patient safety, and care processes are coordinated.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an operational developer, you will work with qualified support to the healthcare operations at the Hospital in Ystad. Your main tasks include providing support to the operations in care guarantee and accessibility issues, as well as coordinating the overall environmental work at the hospital.

In the work with accessibility, you will support the operations in regulations, care guarantee issues, referral management, and handling waiting patients. You will coordinate, through a regional network, the care for patients who cannot be offered care within the care guarantee's framework of 90 days. Part of the work includes supporting units in production and capacity management to ensure good and effective resource planning. You will be responsible for monitoring accessibility and assisting with statistical data and documentation for reports and operational accounts.

In your role as cross-administrative environmental manager, you will work based on Region Skåne's environmental management system. You will represent the administration in regional networks, where you drive, develop, and communicate environmental work. The work includes overall monitoring of environmental goals and activities, risk assessment, participation in planning and conducting environmental audits, coordination of self-checks and compliance checks, as well as responsibility for the administration of products in the chemical management system at the administrative level. As an environmental manager, you will support and guide managers and environmental representatives in the operations in local environmental work. You will be responsible for following up on the overall environmental work by compiling and reporting data and documentation for operational accounts and environmental reports.

As an operational developer, you will initiate improvement work and develop working methods with the patient in focus. The role includes participating in and leading development projects based on the needs of the operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who have a higher education that the employer deems relevant for the position or are trained as a medical secretary. Work experience within a healthcare organization is a requirement and a prerequisite for success in the role. Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, are also required.

It is advantageous if you have experience with Region Skåne's IT systems for accessibility and production such as Pasis and/or Qlikview and have knowledge of care guarantees. Knowledge in the environmental field and environmental management systems is also advantageous. Experience working with overarching processes and leading change and development work is also seen as advantageous.

As an operational developer, you will handle several different issues simultaneously, so you need to be able to structure, prioritize, and plan your work well. The issues you work with will, based on the needs of the operations, change over time. This requires you to be able to prioritize, be flexible, and take responsibility for meeting operational changes. As a person, we see that you have good collaboration skills, are communicative and pedagogical, and have an interest in operational development. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
