The Health and Medical Care Department is responsible for services within home healthcare and rehabilitation. The services are performed by nurses, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, who also delegate to care staff in other operational areas based on their profession.

The Social Services Administration's mission is to provide care, support, and treatment to elderly people, people with disabilities, and those in need of home healthcare. The administration has approximately 1700 permanent employees and has a turnover of over one billion kronor. The Social Services Administration is divided into four operational areas: regular housing, special housing, disability support and services, and the Health and Medical Care Department. The administration also includes the authority unit and a staff with important support functions such as HR, finance, and IT. With us in the rehabilitation unit within the Social Services Administration in Hässleholm Municipality, you will not only have a meaningful job – you will also become part of a competent, helpful, and creative team with a big heart.

We are a total of 30 occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and 8 rehabilitation assistants working together across professional boundaries to provide our patients with the best possible support.

The rehabilitation unit is led by two present and supportive unit managers, and we have five workplaces – four in central Hässleholm and one in Tyringe. Together, we cover twelve geographical areas within the municipality, and our mission is broad: from regular housing and special housing to disability support and services (DSS).

In this role, we are looking for someone who wants to work as a resource occupational therapist, stepping in where needed most – either during vacancies or high workloads. This means a varied everyday life with many different meetings, situations, and colleagues!

Your Mission with Us:

As a clinical occupational therapist, you will work with assessments, interventions, and follow-ups in both rehabilitation and habilitation. You will prescribe medical technical aids and provide guidance on occupational therapy interventions.

You will collaborate daily with other professionals such as physiotherapists, nurses, case managers, coordinators, and care staff – and have contact with regional colleagues through the digital system Mina Planer.

We value community and learning – therefore, the entire unit meets regularly for APT, and we also have professional meetings where we together develop both ourselves and the organization.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who is a licensed occupational therapist with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. You need to have good computer skills and strong knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. A driver's license for a manual car is a requirement. Previous experience in similar work is a plus!
