Hvilan Education, with roots dating back to 1868, is a leading educational actor in the green sector. We are owned by the Agricultural Societies in Kalmar, Kronoberg, Blekinge, Sjuhärad, and Skåne, and offer education at both secondary and adult levels.

About You

We are looking for someone with an academic degree and relevant knowledge in green education or equivalent.

The position involves both practical and theoretical teaching, which means you have a combination of deep theoretical and solid practical knowledge.

You are accustomed to leading towards defined goals and are driven by developing people.

You have a good ability to communicate, both in writing and verbally, with colleagues as well as students from diverse backgrounds.

Of course, you find it enjoyable and stimulating to creatively inspire students to develop and thrive in your teaching.

We want you to contribute to creating a pleasant, clear, and structured teaching environment through skilled leadership.

You also want to take responsibility and develop projects together with colleagues to help the school and the organization as a whole grow and achieve its goals.

In Stockholm, we train arborists in YH, offer training in Maintenance and Care (AUB), as well as Garden Designers (AUB). Your tasks will include teaching and course responsibility based on current curricula. You should be able to understand and implement the curricula into concrete teaching moments, course planning, and assessment criteria.

Vocational teacher certification is an advantage but not a requirement.

Some examples of tasks.

• Course responsible for assigned courses and modules in maintenance, installation, and machinery
• Resource during practical exercises in other classes
• Other tasks may occur depending on time and needs.

Requirements

Higher studies in green education such as Arborist, Biologist, Horticulturist, Landscape Engineer, Landscape Architect, Gardener, or similar.

Vocational teacher certification is an advantage but not a requirement.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.

Start date as soon as possible by agreement.

Employment rate 75–100%, or by agreement

Employment form: Permanent position with a probationary period
