Property Manager at Munkagårdsgymnasiet

Now is your chance to take on the role of Property Manager with us at Munkagårdsgymnasiet, where you will be involved in developing and managing maintenance and new construction for our operations.

Responsibilities

In collaboration with our property owner, Region Halland, you will manage construction projects from start to final documentation. As the Property Manager, you will have the expertise in what the school needs and be a key person for us to jointly drive both economically and functionally sound construction projects with the property owner. This fall, we will kick off an exciting new project in solar energy for 3 years, and you will be one of the key persons in this project when the current sub-project manager concludes their employment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage and drive construction projects in collaboration with the property owner, Region Halland, from start to final documentation
• Ensure that the property budget is maintained
• Ensure that daily operations can continue during the construction project
• Maintenance of all rental contracts
• School's contact person with Region Halland's property department
• Manage and organize information such as governing documents, contracts, and drawings digitally
• Be the contact person in the solar project with other partners

About the Workplace

Munkagårdsgymnasiet is a small gymnasium with only the Nature Management Program, focusing on animal care, agriculture, nature tourism, and forestry. We also have an adaptation of the nature management program for students with an NPF diagnosis called Spåret. Here, we offer specializations in animal care, agriculture, and gardening. The school is located in a lovely environment in Tvååker.

The school consists of everything from operational buildings, teaching and school buildings, to student accommodations, totaling approximately 23,000 square meters of property holdings. The buildings are owned by Region Halland, where we as an operation rent and are involved in both maintenance and development.

We have about 120 staff and just over 300 students.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in property management, construction, or another education that the employer deems equivalent. A valid B driver's license is required for the position.

You also need to have:

• Knowledge of construction processes and public administration
• Practical construction knowledge
• Good computer skills
• Good knowledge of Excel and the entire Microsoft 360 suite
• Experience with programs such as: Faciliate, I-Binder, and Citect is advantageous

As the Property Manager, you will be the spider in the web and work closely with both the operation, various positions at Region Halland, and different construction contractors. As a person, you should thrive in a driving role where you are involved in leading the work forward so that the decisions the relevant manager needs to make are well-founded.
