Study Administrator for the Medical Program

The Faculty of Medicine is one of the largest faculties at Umeå University and attracts many students with a comprehensive range of programs in medicine, dentistry, health, and care. Job Responsibilities

As a study administrator within the Medical Program, you will serve as an important hub in providing support and service to students, teachers, and external parties. The work is varied, and you will be involved in planning and managing schedules, assisting with program launches and examinations, ensuring that information for students is updated via the Medical Program's learning platform, and acting as the link between students, teachers, and supervisors involved in the education. The work is carried out in close collaboration with colleagues and teachers across all four study locations. Various digital systems and digital meeting solutions are used to support the work. The Medical Program at Umeå University is in constant development, and the tasks may change over time.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with at least a high school diploma and relevant, current experience in administrative work. You are accustomed to working with various administrative systems and have good knowledge of the Office suite, M365, and the ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

The job requires excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills across various tasks. You have a strong service orientation, are flexible, possess good communication skills, and easily adapt to different administrative systems. The work demands both independence and the ability to collaborate with others. As a study administrator, you will represent the Medical Program internally, externally, and to students, so personal suitability will be highly valued.

Experience in study or educational administration is an advantage.

Conditions and Application

The position is permanent, full-time, with a start date as soon as possible or by agreement. A probationary period may apply.
