We are looking for

We are looking for a licensed nurse. You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you are a trained specialist nurse in psychiatry and if you have knowledge of Cosmic. We also consider it an advantage if you have knowledge of other languages besides Swedish and if you have previous experience working in a psychiatric ward.

This is what you will work with

We work with meaningful round-the-clock care and competence teams where the patient is at the center. In this rotating position day/evening/weekend as a nurse, you will be a key person in the team and have a significant responsibility for ensuring safety and quality in care during your shifts. You will work together with a professional care team consisting of other nurses, caregivers, and doctors and will meet patients with varying psychiatric diagnoses.

Your tasks include: Providing safe and secure care for our patients. Assessing and monitoring the well-being of patients as well as managing acute psychiatric situations. Administering medication and following up on medication treatment. Documenting and reporting according to current routines and collaborating with other staff to create a calm and safe environment.

Information about the position

We offer a permanent full-time position. Working hours are scheduled during days, evenings, and weekends. Start date by agreement. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.

Due to the nature of the operation and safety requirements, applicants to our operation must be prepared to provide an extract from the criminal record.
