We are looking for a project manager (program leader) who will play a key role in creating, nurturing, and strengthening a strong collaborative climate between companies, organizations, and stakeholders in the railway sector to ensure accurate and timely traffic and passenger information.

Program Leader for External Collaboration Forum

Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead and drive the work within the Development Group for Better Traffic and Passenger Information (UBTR), a prioritized initiative within the railway industry's collaboration forum (JBS).

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• leading and coordinating a group consisting of stakeholders in the railway industry, including the Swedish Transport Administration, train operators, track work contractors, and other relevant parties
• creating an effective and constructive collaboration to ensure that accurate and relevant information about traffic and transport reaches travelers and freight customers
• working together with the industry to develop, anchor, and create common solutions to industry-specific issues, such as replacement buses during disruptions
• representing UBTR in various steering groups and other forums such as results conferences and being a link to the JBS board and the management of the Swedish Transport Administration. This work also includes preparing decision-making materials
• being the face of the collaboration and communicating the work in, for example, industry meetings

This is an important role in a prioritized and development-oriented industry initiative. Here you will have the opportunity to influence and contribute to improved traffic and passenger information within the railway sector. Qualifications

As a person, you are results-oriented, driven, and very good at collaborating with others. You are clear in your communication, have the ability to convey your message, and are attentive and adapt your communication to the recipient. You are goal-oriented, pedagogical, and structured, have a good ability to independently lead, complete tasks, and find solutions to arising dilemmas. You are motivated by active employee participation where you purposefully take responsibility for your tasks while being aware of how you are part of and contribute to the whole by collaborating with others.

We are looking for someone who:

• has extensive experience in leadership, such as managerial experience or project management
• has worked with railway issues, preferably regarding traffic information
• has experience working with management groups
• holds a relevant university degree of 180 credits or work experience that can be assessed as equivalent
• can express themselves very well in Swedish, both spoken and written, and is comfortable in English, both spoken and written

It is advantageous if you have documented pedagogical skills and/or professional experience in media.
