Summer job in Lilla Edet's care and support services and experience joy and appreciation together with wonderful colleagues and care recipients!

We are now looking for more employees for the summer in various roles such as nursing assistants, care assistants, aides, personal assistants, and support assistants.

If you want and can, there is an opportunity to start working as a substitute already in the spring!

The job with us is varied and offers many exciting meetings with interesting people. You make a big difference for others while also using and developing important skills such as creativity, teamwork, and flexibility.

We offer you as a summer substitute a one-month employment with salary payment after your first month of work. You also have the opportunity to work full-time or part-time, up to 10 weeks during the summer period. We prefer that you can work according to a schedule between June-August since continuity is an important part of creating security and well-being for both our care recipients and employees. By working regularly, you and your colleagues will contribute to building strong relationships and a positive work environment. Job Responsibilities

As a summer substitute with us, you have the important role of facilitating and providing support to people in their daily lives. Regardless of which role or service you apply for, you will among other things:

• Provide support to care recipients according to our clear work routines.
• Come up with and carry out activities with care recipients to enhance their quality of life.
• Document your work to ensure the quality of our services.

To ensure you have a good start and feel secure in your tasks, you will receive an introduction and delegation training. We tailor the introduction according to your knowledge and experience level. You will be employed at our central staffing unit.

Depending on your experience and preferences, you will have the opportunity to work in one or more of our wonderful services. Since our care and support services operate around the clock, every day of the week, there is the opportunity to work days, evenings, nights, and weekends. A great chance to combine work with free days where you can enjoy the summer!

Home Care

You visit and assist elderly individuals living in their own homes to manage their daily lives. Here, you get to be outdoors and move around a lot, and you will have both varied and eventful workdays. You work both independently and together with supportive colleagues.

Nursing Homes

In our nursing homes, you assist the elderly with more extensive care and support needs. Together with colleagues in various roles, you form a team that works to create pleasant days and a warm, safe, and joyful environment for those living here.

Functional Support and Personal Assistance

Here, you support individuals of all ages with physical or mental disabilities by working in group homes, in housing with special services, within personal assistance, or in short-term housing under LSS.

Your Knowledge and Experience

To thrive with us, you need to have a strong interest in working with people. You are good at meeting individuals with respect and good service. Additionally, you are attentive to others' needs and desires. Your sense of responsibility and good teamwork skills are highly valued by us.

We are looking for you who

• Are 18 years old or will turn 18 before the summer.
• Can speak and write Swedish at least at a basic level.
• Want to collaborate and help other people.

It is highly meritorious if you

• Are educated or are in the process of training in a healthcare profession such as a doctor, nurse, or nursing assistant.
• Have previously worked in any of our services or in healthcare and support.

A driver's license is required in some of our services but is not mandatory.
