Tantum is a family-owned company with roots in fine old craftsmanship traditions. The carpentry started as early as 1973. Nowadays, our famous Tantum interiors make up the majority of production and can be found in care homes, schools, and other demanding environments throughout the Nordic countries. Another important part of the business is contract manufacturing in large and small series for the automotive industry, boat industry, and building materials sector. While we have craftsmanship in our genes, we also utilize the latest technology, with robot-equipped CNC machines and presses for precision gluing of cabinet frames. In the production facility, we manufacture and assemble kitchen furnishings for public environments as well as contract manufacturing for the automotive and boat industries. Tantum AB in Malmö will need to expand its production in the spring of 2025 with an additional new colleague, a self-driven and versatile CNC operator with experience in wood materials.

Job Responsibilities

As a CNC operator, you will work with a focus on CNC milling. Currently, there are five CNC machines in production. Plans for investments in additional machines are in place. We work both with ready-made programs and program on our own. The job also involves handling tools, some forklift driving to retrieve materials, as well as servicing and maintaining the machines.

To fit in, the following is required:

• CNC education or equivalent experience
• Practical skills and experience
• Good knowledge of reading technical drawings
• Good tool skills (screwing, sawing/cutting, milling, drilling, etc.)
• Ability to work independently but also in a team.
• Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Computer skills
• Forklift license is a plus

You have good social skills as it is important to fit into the group and collaborate with others. We place great importance on your interest and attitude.

Work Location & Hours

The work takes place at Tantum's facility in Malmö. Working hours are Monday to Thursday (6:30 AM - 4:05 PM) and Fridays (6:30 AM - 12:30 PM). Collective agreement GS.

This is a so-called hire-recruitment where our client collaborates with us at Ny Kollega. After the rental period (usually about 6 months), the person we are looking for will be employed by our client company.
