The healthcare system is organized in a joint Department for Home Care, which is responsible for services provided by nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists in regular housing.
We need to strengthen our team with a nurse.

Job Responsibilities

As a licensed nurse, you will be responsible for healthcare services in the patient's home. The role includes coordinating good care and support, where you are part of the teamwork around the individual and their relatives. The role also includes guidance within the work team. The team currently consists of 9 nurses and one nursing assistant. Two nurses are on study leave.

The home care nurses have a close collaboration externally with the two health centers, as well as inpatient care and PRT reception.

Daytime work with some weekend duty is included, currently every 8th weekend. The nurses have a reduced working time, which means you work 35.20 hours/week.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience as a licensed nurse, preferably with district nurse training or experience from home care. Working independently and being able to collaborate with other staff within the work team, as well as having an interest in developing the operations, is important to us. You should also be solution-focused and able to see the big picture. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

A driving license (B) is required.

Within the framework of the national minority language law, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for a position in Gällivare municipality.

100% temporary position until 250831, with the possibility of extension.

Monthly salary, individual salary setting.
