Skaraborgs Vi Unga is looking for activity leaders for the Game Hub project!

Skaraborgs Vi Unga is a non-profit youth organization that works to ensure that children and young people can develop and have influence and control over their own leisure time. We support young people in starting and running associations based on their own interests and initiatives, and we also organize recreational activities throughout Skaraborg.

Now we are looking for engaged activity leaders for our project "Game Hub", which aims to create physical meeting places for young people interested in video games and board games. The target group for the project is ages 13-27.

Are you a social and open person with a great interest in games of all kinds? Do you want to help create a safe meeting place for young people where games and community are the focus? Then this job is for you!

About the position:

Game Hub is a project aimed at combating involuntary loneliness among young people by creating physical meeting places with games as a common denominator. As an activity leader, you will plan and lead gaming sessions, support participants in their social development, and contribute to an inspiring and inclusive environment. Your office and the location you will be based from is in Skara.

We are looking for someone who:

✅ Has a driver's license and access to a car

✅ Has knowledge and interest in both video games and board games

✅ Is social, attentive, and enjoys meeting people of all ages

✅ Is pedagogical

✅ Has the ability to create a welcoming and safe atmosphere

Work scope:

Part-time employment, 1-3 evenings per week during the period May – November 2025, with the possibility of extension within other parts of the organization.

Location:

Game Hub will primarily operate in Skara, Skövde, and Mariestad, but other locations may occur.
