Vibackeskolan is a K-9 school located in the center of Alnö. The school has over 700 students and about 90 employees with various competencies. Of the approximately 700 students, around 400 are in upper secondary school, and the school also accepts students in grade seven from Uslands School, Gångvikens School, and Ljustadalens School.

In upper secondary, teachers are organized into subject teams, and most teachers are also mentors for a class. To strengthen the school's work with student support, we also have something we call Flex, which is a way to support students in smaller contexts in one or more subjects. In Flex, teachers, special teachers, and special educators work closely to provide extra support to the students who need it.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main responsibility will be to teach students in grades 7-9 in the subject of technology and perform other teaching-related tasks. In addition to teaching, you may also be assigned to be a mentor for a group of students, where your task is to take extra responsibility through communication with the students' guardians and other teachers to be able to support the student's schooling.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license and has a subject teacher education with qualifications to teach technology at the upper secondary level.

As a teacher, you have a genuine interest and commitment to students' development and learning. You are a stable and secure person with a good ability to create trusting relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians. We wish for you to be a clear leader in the classroom who conducts well-planned and structured teaching and creates a good working climate together with the students.

Great emphasis is placed on pedagogical leadership and personal suitability, as well as the ability to create good sustainable relationships.
