We are looking for two teachers of Swedish and Swedish as a second language for Hedbergska School. Hedbergska is centrally located in Sundsvall and offers both college preparatory programs and vocational programs. The school has nearly 1200 students and works in program teams around each student.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your responsibilities include:

• Teaching Swedish and Swedish as a second language in both college preparatory and vocational programs. One of the positions also includes supervising the gymnasiearbete (graduation project).
• Mentorship for a group of students, which involves responsibility for following and supporting the students' social and academic development.
• Collaboration with teachers and other staff at the school.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is an educated and licensed upper secondary school teacher in Swedish and Swedish as a second language.

You are positive, engaged, and passionate about the students' development, both academically and as individuals. You are skilled at motivating students and have a teaching style that is stimulating and varied. You see opportunities and are used to taking initiative. You have a solution-focused approach and are confident in your role. We expect you to be able to work independently while enjoying collaborating with your colleagues.
