About the Role Swede-Wheel is currently expanding and building out its facilities to increase capacity both in manufacturing and in the office. In connection with this, the testing department will have a completely new and modern space, where you as a Test Developer will have a unique opportunity to help shape and optimize the work environment. This gives you a unique chance to influence and create a functional and efficient testing environment for the future. As a Test Developer at Swede-Wheel, you will be a central player in ensuring that our products meet high-quality standards. You will develop and conduct tests, both for existing and new products, and be the one testing new solutions and materials to drive innovation. Your practical, solution-oriented approach will help us create even better products and optimize our processes. You will also be involved in improving and developing testing methods to optimize testing and workflows. You will also be responsible for our new testing environment as well as guiding and advising on the choice of testing equipment. You will play an important role in our product development team by developing testing methods that simplify comparisons between different solutions and presenting results and conclusions in an easily understandable way.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and conduct tests of both ongoing products and new development projects.
• Be responsible for documenting test results clearly and providing recommendations for improvements and actions.
• Actively work to improve testing methods and develop new solutions to optimize our workflows.
• Present test results and analyses in a clear manner to other departments and contribute to their development, so they can make choices and decisions.
• Have overall responsibility for our new testing room and testing equipment – both for maintenance and to ensure that all procedures are followed.
• Drive and implement changes to streamline and improve testing processes.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure that new products meet functional and quality requirements.
• Support the sales and marketing department with test results and technical support.
• Apply your practical experience to solve problems and create new solutions for both products and processes.

We believe that you have a post-secondary education in engineering or equivalent practical experience, and preferably experience in product development or engineering knowledge at the university level. Experience in design work, product development, or similar is an advantage. If you also have experience with testing methods, 3D modeling, and knowledge of sheet metal forming or plastic manufacturing, that is a big plus.
