ABOUT THE POSITION

Welcome to Husqvarna's department for Base Engine Technology, Power and Drive Systems! Here, three teams work together, comprising about 20 colleagues focused on the construction of rotating systems and components. The department designs two-stroke engines and develops all rotating and moving parts in cast materials such as cylinders, pistons, flywheels, and clutches.

We are now looking for someone who wants to work with construction from idea to finished component. Your work will involve collaboration both within the team and with other departments such as calculations, labs, purchasing, and SQA. Therefore, you need to enjoy communication and have an understanding and willingness to engage in technical discussions, including rotor fault analysis, calculations, and simulations.

We believe you will thrive particularly well in this team if your interest in technology and vehicles/engines is also reflected outside of work. Perhaps you ride motocross, enjoy working on your car, or have other exciting hobby projects? JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

Design in CAD, Catia
Analyze simulation results and carry dialogues forward to develop the construction
Work with tolerance investigations
Work with product maintenance including product and cost improvements

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

Has a Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
Has excellent skills in both Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work
Has good CAD skills, preferably in Catia
Has an interest in construction from a functional perspective and an understanding of technical issues such as calculations, simulations, and rotor fault analysis
Has a technical understanding of how engines are constructed and good material knowledge in steel, aluminum, and plastic

It is advantageous if you have:

Experience from a similar role previously
A hobby interest in mechanics, vehicles, and engines
