Sommarvik is a year-round family-friendly holiday resort located just south of Årjäng in Västra Värmland.

Sommarvik is surrounded by beautiful Värmland forests and lakes, offering cabins and camping in a fantastic nature-rich landscape.

The facility is situated on a slope, which means that several of the cabins and camping sites have lake views. Västra Silen is a clear-water lake and one of the largest lakes in the Dalsland Canal lake system.

Canoeing here is a wonderfully fun and relaxing activity for the whole family. During the summer, many activities are organized, and there are plenty of opportunities for relaxation.

We are looking for receptionists who want to work with us during the summer, but also for those who wish to work extra as needed in the pre- and post-season.

Job responsibilities

• cash handling
• booking both over the counter, via email, and phone
• restocking goods and assisting in our shop
• helping with rentals by handing out rented items
• cleaning the reception
• baking bake-off bread in the morning
• receiving goods deliveries and completing self-checks

You who are applying need to be able to take a lot of responsibility and make your own decisions, seeing what needs to be done. Organized and easy to talk to guests so that each individual feels seen and experiences good service.

You must be flexible and able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays such as Midsummer, etc.

You need to be able to communicate in Swedish but also in English, as we have guests from all over the world, so communication is required.

We apply collective agreements and follow Visita's agreements.

Varying working hours, which is why we call the position part-time; during the summer we can offer more hours, while low season is as needed.
