The hospitals in the west are an administration within the Västra Götaland region and consist of four hospitals – Alingsås Hospital, Angered Local Hospital, Högsbo Local Hospital, and Kungälv Hospital. Approximately 3000 employees work with us every day to provide good and safe specialist healthcare of the highest quality.

Description

The Kungälv ambulance service consists of four ambulance stations: Ale, Kungälv, Stenungsund, and Tjörn, as well as a unit for non-emergency patient transport. The ambulance service employs 53 permanent staff members.

The Alingsås ambulance service consists of two ambulance stations: Alingsås and Lerum. The ambulance service employs about 45 permanent staff members.

Responsibilities

As a paramedic, you will play an active role in planning, executing, and being responsible for tasks within the ambulance service based on the Health and Medical Services Act, the Patient Safety Act, and directives from the ambulance chief physician. The paramedic should, from an ethical standpoint, contribute to good communication, quality patient care, and a positive work environment.

Introduction training starts on 25-05-01.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a nursing assistant with further training in ambulance care, and you must have training and experience in emergency driving. A driver's license with at least C1 qualification is required. Good local knowledge within the respective ambulance district is highly meritorious.

You should have practical experience in the field of ambulance care and good physical ability as we conduct physical tests. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability where flexibility and the ability to work independently are important aspects.

Test days for Kungälv are 25-01-21 and 25-02-27. Test days for Alingsås are 25-01-13 and 25-01-22.

Employment Type

This is a temporary position until 2025-08-31 with the possibility of extension.
