THE OLD SMOKEHOUSE

A unique restaurant with character and inspiration from the American South, located in Nacka with a charming view over Lännerstasundet. Smoking and grilling are the core of our cooking, taking place in impressive homemade "smokers" that transform tough cuts of meat into something truly magical.

We offer lunches, dinners, and also conference services.

Your Responsibilities

We need several skilled organizers to staff our Foodtruck and manage the dock area, which includes 10 boat slips this summer. The Foodtruck is for guests who visit us sporadically and also serves as a relief for the restaurant during peak season. Your tasks will include simple food preparation and cooking as well as selling drinks, ice cream, alcohol, etc. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the dock area is welcoming and clean, as well as greeting our guests arriving by boat.

Your Profile

You are cheerful and flexible, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in food and drink, and have a high ambition to develop and learn new things. You want to give every guest a memorable experience. You are self-driven while also being able to collaborate easily with others. You are stress-resistant and used to working in a fast-paced environment with style and finesse.

We are looking for someone who wants to work with us, and since a large part of the sales occurs during evenings and weekends, this should not be a hindrance for you. You should have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Previous experience in service jobs/café work or similar and/or familiarity with boats is a plus but not a requirement. If you have previous experience leading a small team, that is also an advantage. We are looking for reliable individuals with a strong work ethic and a sense of service!

As public transport may be limited during evenings and weekends, it is advantageous if you have a B driver's license or live in the local area!

About the Position

The employment is a consulting assignment for the client's account between May and September. Working hours vary between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM. Weekend work is included.

We take full employer responsibility and follow collective agreements (HRF).
