We are looking for

We are looking for a licensed nurse with experience in psychiatric care. It is advantageous if you have a specialist nursing education in psychiatric care as well as training in communication techniques, such as MI or CBT. We would also like you to have experience in psychiatric outpatient and inpatient care and that you master Swedish well in both speech and writing.

You value teamwork, communicate clearly, and resolve conflicts constructively. You are also flexible, easily adapt to changes, and see opportunities in new situations. Furthermore, you have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize effectively to achieve results.


What you will work with

As a nurse in our unit, you will lead the nursing work independently and be an important part of our interdisciplinary team. Here we work together to offer person-centered care with a holistic view, where every employee has an active role in developing both methods and operations. The tasks include making assessments, identifying risks, setting priorities, and implementing appropriate measures while keeping the team updated through feedback and follow-up. Furthermore, you will have the chance to collaborate with specialists, psychotherapists, social workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nursing staff, and administrative personnel in a close and rewarding collaboration. Cooperation with external actors and home visits are also part of the job, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to training and supervision for the municipality's staff when needed. Information about the position

We offer a permanent full-time position with working hours scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday. Start date is according to agreement, selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
The position is within psychiatry: Based on the nature of the operation and security requirements, applicants to our organization must be prepared to provide a criminal record extract.

Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
