Housekeeper at Scandic Karlskrona

Scandic Karlskrona is located right by the water with a fantastic view of the archipelago. At the same time, the hotel is centrally located with proximity to most of what Karlskrona has to offer. The hotel opened in 2010, and this summer we welcome our guests to a newly renovated and expanded hotel with a total of 255 rooms, 9 meeting rooms, a rooftop bar, wellness with sauna and pool, restaurant, bar, and outdoor seating.

We are now looking for housekeepers for Scandic Karlskrona.

Regardless of why the guest comes to us, few things are as appreciated as a friendly face welcoming them. You act as a host together with the rest of the team at the hotel and create a world-class guest experience.

What does the role entail?

Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the important task of maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and ensuring that our guests have a “wow-feeling” when they enter the hotel and their hotel room. The role includes cleaning hotel rooms, corridors, pantries, and common areas. You and your colleagues contribute to the general order in the hotel’s premises, handle laundry, and replenish our supplies.

Who are you?

To thrive in the role, you need to be meticulous and have an eye for detail. It is important that you have good physical fitness, are flexible, and have good teamwork skills as all employees together are responsible for the guest's experience. You spread good energy around you and are a caring colleague. You have previous experience in cleaning, guest service, and can communicate in Swedish. Since we use iPads, you need to have some computer skills. Previous experience in hotels is an advantage.
