À la Carte Chef & Waiter/Waitress in beautiful Lofoten, Norway

Location: Lofoten – a picturesque area in northern Norway close to the sea, fjords, and spectacular views.

Operational Period: May to September/October.

Opportunity for permanent position for the right person is available.

A charming 3-star hotel in the heart of Lofoten is now seeking three dedicated À la Carte Chefs and four experienced Waiters/Waitresses for the summer season of 2025. The hotel has 24 rooms and welcomes guests from around the world who want to experience the Arctic landscape, fishing, hiking, and local culture.

The restaurant offers Scandinavian cuisine in à la carte format with a focus on fish and meat dishes. There is also a bar, lounge, outdoor seating, and a relaxed but professional work environment where quality and service are paramount.

Available Positions:

À la Carte Chefs (3 positions) – Start in May

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook Scandinavian dishes focusing on fish, seafood, and meat dishes.
• Participate in private events and catering.
• Collaborate in a small kitchen team with a focus on high quality.

Qualifications:

• 2–15 years of experience as a chef.
• Solid knowledge of Scandinavian cuisine, especially fish and meat dishes.
• Preferably communicates in Swedish.

Waiters/Waitresses (4 positions) – Start in May

Responsibilities:

• Serve Scandinavian dishes in à la carte format.
• Provide guests with a memorable service experience, both indoors and on the outdoor terrace.

Qualifications:

• 2–15 years of experience in serving, preferably in à la carte.
• Fluent in Swedish (required) – as guest contact is central.
