We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our AI/ML development team. This role focuses on developing advanced AI-driven solutions. You will lead the design, development, and maintenance of AI/ML software products, driving innovative projects from ideation to scalable deployment.

Location: Onsite, Stockholm

Cloud Certification: GCP Machine Learning Certification required

Key Responsibilities:

• AI/ML Solution Development: Build and maintain AI/ML solutions, handling large datasets, feature engineering, data pipeline development, model evaluation, and scalable production deployment.

• Data Infrastructure: Design and establish large-scale data infrastructures tailored for AI/ML projects.
• 
  
• Architectural Leadership: Influence architectural decisions and define technical roadmaps while prioritizing code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• 
  
• Reusable AI/ML Frameworks: Create and enhance reusable components, addressing common needs like model monitoring, traceability, versioning, and inference serving.
• 
  
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineers, data scientists, and business teams to strengthen the AI ecosystem.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Education: BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field; equivalent professional experience considered.
• 
  
• Professional Experience: At least 5+ years in roles focused on AI/ML development, with expertise in large-scale production environments.
• 
  
• Software Engineering Background: Strong foundation in coding (Python, 4+ years), back-end development, and familiarity with FastAPI. Experience with DevOps, testing, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles in AI/ML projects.

• Cloud Expertise: Proven knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Vertex AI, with a focus on cloud-based ML development.

• MLOps Practices: Hands-on experience with ML pipelines, production deployments, and lifecycle management.
• 
  
• Data Science Proficiency: Deep understanding of AI/ML frameworks and techniques, along with high-volume heterogeneous data (batch and stream). Skilled in SQL, DBT, and cloud storage technologies.

• Analytical and Solution-Driven Thinking: Proficiency in analyzing requirements and delivering practical solutions with scalability.
